Unfortunately, it seems like my AES's AV cable is dying. The video part is fine, but I lose all sound on it normally. It only works and gives off sound when I bend it in a certain way, and any shift in movement of the cable causes it to malfunction and mute all sound.

My question is, aside from searching online to find a new av cable, is there any quicker option to fix this? I don't imagine I could go down to the local circuit city and find an av cable that plugs into my Neo Geo :( Thanks for reading.

If I sell my Elite Modded AES, I'll sell you the original AV cable for $10 shipped. PM me if interested.

If you know whereabouts the break is inside the cable why not just cut it,take out the dodgy section and then rejoin it?

A ten minute job that costs nothing.
