XGRB2+ pixel "jiggle" - anybody else experience this?

I just set up my XRGB2+ and it works GREAT. However I have one minor gripe with it so far. The some of the pixels kind of "jiggle" back and forth on the screen, but very slightly. It's only really noticeable if you are right on top of your TV or monitor. When you go in the menu, the text for the menu REALLY jiggles ALOT, but the actual game only jiggles very slightly.

Is there anyway to fix this?

It could be something to do with the unit itself, but It also could be your Neo or the TV. Do you or a friend have another Neo & TV to test it on? Test both Neos on both TV's using the XRGB2.

I'm not using a NEO, I've tested it with both my SNES, PSone, and PS2. I've hooked it both up to my computer monitor and TV with the same results. Like i said, the text on the menu of the XRGB2+ jiggles ALOT, with nothing hookedn up, so i know its not the consoles or the display device.

Ah, sorry. I automatically assumed that you were using it for an AES for some reason. Well, since you've covered all the bases, I'd say that you have a bad XRGB. Maybe you can crack it open and see if there are any obvious defects such as loose wiring or bad solder points, etc.

Well, I seriously doubt this is a defect since everything else works perfect, and I think its doucmented here:

I think he is talking about the problem I'm expericing.

Ah, I see. I've never used one before (as you can tell), so I was just throwing out troubleshooting advice. Well, I'm glad I never bought one of those expensive jobbies, if they are all like that!

Well, I wouldnt say that. It works GREAT for what I use it for, and as what was stated above, you can only notice it when you are very very close to the TV, at distances you wouldnt be playing at anyways. When you are at a normal distance you cant see it. I was just trying to see if there was a way to eliminate it.

Try it on a TV with a Digital Comb Filter if you know someone that has one. Maybe the filter would clean that up. It's only in newer TV's though.

I did not see any such artifacts on my CRT monitor.
I did have the flickering pixel problem on my dlp but i found a way to fix it with my TV.

this is what i did

the usr_tdc option helps remove this. the usr_tdc option seem to stretch some pixels in random columns.
if i use the tdc option with the coarse and fine options in my samsung i can get the pic to look perfect.
they have to match up or you will see the flickering.
i have my tvs coarse setting at 831 and the fine setting at 10.(tv menu-setup-pc-)
to get to the usr_tdc option in the xrgb you need to set (option-on)(dtc_typ-user)
then you change the usr_dtc value to what ever number you need to get you video to look right with your display(i set mine to 829)
as i said you need to find a happy medium between your display settings and your xrgb

check this post out i have some pics
