This console is just amazing! Who's ordering the Famicom edition from Playasia?

As previously announced, the Micro will not play Game Boy Color or old Game Boy games -- they won't even fit in the cartridge slot -- so if you have a few faves from way back in your collection, you're going to still want to keep one of your old systems handy.

The only thing that will keep me from getting one of these is that tiny screen. That, and owning a DS..

Have you seen the 20th Anniversary of Mario commercials?

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/mario20th/

It looks to be one of the most comfortable system ever. I can't wait to get my hands on one. The only problem I have is carrying it in my pocket. I'll be getting the Famicom edition and it will probably have a smaller production run... I don't want to screw it up.

You know this is a last attempt for Nintendo to keep the GBA line alive. I just don't see the use since I have no problems taking my DS when I go out.

It does look cool though, I will give it that......it's just not for me.

WTF is up with this micro craze? Size... that's the problem. If anything, things are too damn small nowadays. Granted, it's a neat idea, but why bother when you have a DS? I mean, honestly. That thing's the size of an old gameboy game (remember back when we thought that GB games were small? LOL... look at how big the DS carts are).

Actual reply:

Didn't think I was going to want one of these since I already have my DS to play GBA games, but after reading some good stuff on it, I'm leaning towards a purchase myself.

Seems like a cool little thing to just keep in my pocket at all times.

As much as I like my DS and NGPC, neither of those are really that comfortable just sitting in the back pocket of my jeans for extended periods of time.

Remember what I told you . . . when your panties get bunched up, you tend to get a little irritated. Or whenever anyone says anything negative about Nintendo, a company which can do no wrong . . . same thing. I'm not the only one who feels this way, so why not just take your Midol and chill out with some ghey Nintendogs action? :tickled:

What stack of papers is your PSP currently preventing from blowing away?

Actually I've gotten a ton of play out of Untold Legends, a great little action/RPG game. Not up to the Baldurs Gate or Champions of Norrath series of action/RPG games (which I love), but still not a bad little game. Plus I've been playing Ridge Racer, Wipeout, and Twisted Metal. I'll be the first to admit that game releases have been slow for the PSP, but the design of the DS with its virtually useless second screen doesn't do a lot for me . . . and the rest of the console has plenty of problems as well, like the cheap dpad and tiny buttons. :oh_no:

His angry letters to Nintendo telling them how much they suck.

He'd have sent them out by now, but his custom-made "

You haven't even played a DS. Don't bullshit us. That or you've only played Mario DS which is hardly showcasing the potential of the screen.

The PSP sucks, the GameBoy micro is a gimmicky piece off garbage. Both of them are wastes of pocket space.

The DS, despite being limited by its hardware, is kept afloat by quality software. Proof that cosmetics don't mean a damn thing.

I won't be buying any of them.

So it shall be written so it shall be done.

EDITS: Handhelds are silly.

2nd EDIT: Look at how I wrote "EDITS" by accident. How silly is that? Someone is a little tweedle deedle dee on the substances.

I've played enough games on the DS to know that its a waste. The stylus is a joke, the second screen is useless, the buttons suck, and the games are of no interest. What else is there to see? Electroplankton, which isn't even a game? Nintendogs, which is nothing more than a lame virtual pet demo? Mario DS with no analog control, because Nintendo was to stupid to build in an analog controller on the DS? Feel the magic, which has no replayability, stupid little puzzles, and horrible graphics? Warioware, with a bunch of dumb mini games?

I've played enough to know that the system is a waste. Had they done it differently, I might have actually bought one. I love the NES and SNES, but after those systems, Nintendo lost it. Sorry . . . :annoyed:

No, the only predictable people are the morons who buy up this stupid junk. Which would be you, too . . . :kekeke:

Tell me, what games did you play and how far did you get into them? This should be interesting. Tell us why you didn't like them.

Ass.

I was initially skeptical about the GB Micro, but after giving it some hardcore play today, its pretty much a great ultra-portable system from the few games I've played. I think Nintendo has shruken it down to as far as you can and still be playable. Everything looked great. Granted, I would never buy one as I'm not a portables guy, but if you'd enevr had a GB system in your life, it would be a great intro unit.
