Can I play it by using the D-pad & using the buttion's like on the PS1 or do you have to use the touch screen to play it?. I think Capcom should just do RE2 & RE3 remakes for the Gamecube instead before the PS3 launches. I know that I'll buy Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for the DS anyways though.

Maybe RE2 & RE3 will come out on the DS too. :kekeke: :)

I think this is the 3rd thread about it. Anyway I think this game could be worth playing, let's wait for the final release.

I've yet to see the DS actually anti alias. I'm not too surprised with the blocky nature of the graphics, but I assume they'll get better in later stages of development.

I'm more concerned about proper use of the touch pad and dual screens. The graphics can suck for all I care.

Agree 100%. I'm excited about getting a DS, and even this looks like shit to me. I LOVE RE1. LOVE it. However, we already have a kick ass remake...why make yet another one?

That looks like total shit. I hope it gets better with time. Maybe they are just rough models before the touches are added.

If you want good looking 3D, then DS ain't your system.

It's just a shame that Sony can't seem to get any good games licenced for PSP lately. Castlevania, Resident Evil etc. could all be so much better on PSP.

Maybe there will be PSP versions eventually.

Yeah, well the PSP is sucking in Japan, so high priority titles will probably be on the DS first. I have both and I seriously haven't touched the PSP in a month. As for the topic at hand, yeah RE would be better looking on the PSP screen, but I bet it will make menu's a lot easier with a touch screen. Think about it.

Amazing so much intrest for RE1, why can't we have a remake of 2,3, or Code V.

Give Capcom another year or so and they'll re-hash everything, this time to the DS.
