I just got 2 1 Slots - MV1 & MV1F off ebay and I want to consolize them both. Can anyone help me with the best way to do it?

not worth it, since both are too big, exposed and generally ugly looking.

The only reason to consolize the MV-1 is just for the practice or to have a functional unit. It is way too big as Falk states and will get really dusty. The MV-1F is a better option but is still has issues. Best bet is the MV-1FZ, but you'd have to make your own controller ports for it. More work, but better result.

Falk (supergoose79) did one with a small cover for the PCB but I can't find the pics. I'd like to do a little plastic cover for the PCB but haven't had the desire nor the request to do any recently, so that's that.

EDIT:
The last one I did (for member oldschool, on request) was a 1F:

These are for gamers, not collectors, so the looks aren't too important. As long as they can play Neo games they aren't bothered.

So, what do I need do to add a scart lead and PSU - pinouts and such? I'm guessing I won't need to add coin & test, as the boards are set to free play and dip 1 enters the test menu and they already have joystick ports.

Search the forums

Search the forums. If you need help you shouldn't do it. There is a very simple diagram in these forums, search for that and you need to understand BASIC wiring to pull it off. I managed to pull it off with a general JAMMA pinout list and information found here.
The 1f is REALLY easy to do, but I took the easy way out and just bought a 1084s monitor instead of a jrok.

good luck

I'll not need a jrok anyway as I live in the UK, so can just wite up a scart connector. It's all sorted now anyway. :)

I agree here. If you need a step-by-step guide possibly you don't have the knowledge to do it anyway. Just the pin-outs of the MVS and any other stuff you need should be enough. Of course you can have particular doubts or questions and ask them here and everybody will help, but there's no "universal easy guide" as weverybody does it differently depending on needs, resources and availability.
