Hi,

I did the RGB mod to my Neo some time ago using RockstarRunners instructions.

It improved the picture quality of the Neo considerably. At that time I used a 32 inch Sony Wega for gaming. Now I bought a new Philips 21 inch tv and for some reason the colors are wrong. White has a green tint to it and it's instantly obvious that all the colors are somewhat wrong. I'm not quite sure what color is causing the problem but I think everything looks too green. (or yellow?)

I took a picture of the screen with my camera. I don't have a place to put it in the web but if somebody willing to help with the problem would like to see it I could email it.

The new tv should be ok since everything else I have fed it looks great. I tried my Neo with my old TV again and the picture is normal with the right colors. What could be causing the problem and how could I fix it?

Thanks!

Sounds like the TV is not use to such a high level of RGB signal. I think the RGB bypass mod seems to have the original strong RGB signal. The CXA does weaken it a little I think. I would just put some resistors on the RGB lines. Also here is something to try. See what settings for the color functions on your TV are like. Some autocorrecting functions on TV's are no good with certain signals.

By the way if the resistors don't work, then its another issue. It could be there isn't enough power stored in the lines, so use some ceramic capacitors range 1uf to 200uf. Try that out on all lines RGB + the sync output. Start with the lowest capacitors first.
