WTB: Consolized MVS

Don't care if it's been modded (what's the use of modding a region-free console anyways?), if you want to sell your AES (and some games to go with it), feel free to give me a PM :)

EDIT 9-17-05: Interested in buying consolized MVS now, see bottom post for details.

The mod will put a S-Video, stereo jacks and power light in the system.
And the bios will add some extra functions, and you can change beetween AES or MVS system in your home console.

Yeah, go with the Unibios so you won't either be stuck with edited games or games in a language you don't want.

As for the video, any mod method is better than the really crappy composite video output a NeoGeo AES puts out. The composite video is equal to a Sega Genesis, dead colors, it kind of degrades the quality of the system. Trust me I know, I did the S-video mod and wanted more, then I got a NeoBitz for an RGB monitor quality video output, component video (YPrPb).

If you still don't want to do any mods at all. Then make sure you get a 200,000 serial# and up AES system that is Japanese. 200,000 AES systems have the better composite video than the other models, Japanese so you can play most fighting games with blood (You will suffer on old games as they have no language select in the games, so you will be stuck with japanese). Its' all a matter of preference on the US or Jap system.

I've got an AES with 1 old-style stick, the hookups, a memory card (with sleeve, documentation and small cardboard case) and Samurai Spirits. If you' re interested, just shoot me a PM.

Thanks ;)

Sorry oldschool, but a guy just gave me an offer on a consolized MVS I couldn't refuse. Looks like I'm going MVS; thanks for all your inquiries and PMs, guys.

Well after waiting for more than a goddamn week on a reply, the guy selling me the consolized MVS has yet to give me his address. Apparently, super-mega-ultra (his ebay username and nearly everywhere else) also bought a Waku Waku 7 game just a few days ago, so I know he's on the internet (I would have PMed him at e-Bay, but eBay isn't allowing me to PM him since I haven't bought/sold anything over there; I'd really appreciate it if one of you eBay members could PM him and ask him what's up; it would really help me out ). I'm giving him a few more days to reply, and if he won't, then fuck it -- I'll just have to get someone else's. It's really irritating as well, since we both committed to the deal heavily, and since I've already bought $71 worth of MVS games, I need a consolized MVS.

Anyways, as the subject now says, I am looking to buy a consolized MVS. If any of you have one for sale, PM me. It must work on American televisions and have at least one AES controller or joystick to be played with.

Thanks.

If it doesn't follow through you can always get a cab in your area. There are lots of places in the Virgina area near bigger cities like Norfolk for example I am sure. The cost will be practically the same and you get an arcade. Of course you can't take it anywhere, but it is the best Neo experience.

Yeah, I figured that, but I'd rather just play it on my TV in my room; I don't have any other space in my house for a cab (in fact, when I moved, I left my Super Doge Ball cab in my mom's house).

Besides that, I have yet to find a company selling a Neo cab. Everyone wants to "rent" cabs instead of selling them, so bah.

Excellent, looks like I'm going with Xion's MVS :)

Right now all I need is one AES controller or joystick. If anyone wants to sell one, drop me a PM. It must be in good working condition.

Thats because you're contacting Coin-op dist. not private sellers, go to a local arcade auction.

But yeah go with an CMVS or AES to save on space.

Thanks for the advice Terry; I'm still sticking with a consolized MVS though.

Anyways, long story short, the guy who had apparently wimped out has come back, and I'm in as well...but I'm making him send first. So I don't need any controllers or anything as of now.

Thanks to everyone's help and PMs, I appreciate it :) Expect me to come back in a few weeks looking for a bunch of MVS games.

Composite is fine with my AES.

First of all, think about which type of Gamer you are! A Collector or a Gamer! If you´re a Collector, pick up an AES/NGH-System. Otherwise buy a MVS-System!
