Is it possible to burn new Audio/Video/etc eproms for a faulty mvs-X-slot?

I was wondering...the onboard IC's on the mainboard... can they be replaced if damaged? I mean, is there anyway to get the information they contain so i can burn a new one if lets say my video ram fails...or audio chips?

what types of eproms would be needed for the repairs?

If it's a RAM that goes bad you don't have to burn anything, just put the new chip in.

If you mean the BIOS, 000-lo, sm1, or sfix chips, those are small ROM chips, and they can be replaced, you just need an equivalent ROM and to burn the data to them. You can get the data using the MAME Neogeo BIOS ROM set.

SP-S2.SP1 TC531024 (DIP40) (the BIOS)
000-L0.L0 TC531000 (DIP28)
SFIX.SFIX D27C1000 (DIP32)
SM1.SM1 MB832001 (DIP32)

You can probably find equivalents pretty easily. These are the chips used on an MV1 PCB, different boards may be different.

edit: I'll just post'em it's easier
Mask Rom = EPROM
TC531024 = 27C1024
TC531000 = HN27C301, TC571001, 27C100, and 27C1000 (Although 27c1000 are sometimes the same pinout as 27C010 and 27C1001) *note- these are 32 pin but are pin compatible with the 28 pin TC531000*
MB832001 = 27C020, 27C2001

I couldn't find a pinout specifically for a D27C1000 but would assume the pinout to be same as HN27C301/TC571001, not the same as 27C1001. Some newer 27C1000 use the 27c010/27c1001 pinout.
