Hi...Im new to arcade systems and i dont have a lot of room in my house but i wanna get the following systems...

sega naomi
sammy atomiswave
capcom cps1
capcom cps2
neo geo hyper 64

how much would each of these systems cost to buy and then to consolize?
are these systems all cart based?
I have a neo geo mvs 2 slot dedicated cab - are any of those compatable?
if anyone can do these or has - please post pics, i may go thru you to buy.

thanks in advance

I don't know about the naomi or Cps1,cps2 or neo geo 64 but for the AW well,There's a few people who have it consolized. But nobody wants to do it because is such a fucking pain in the ass.My sugestion to you is get a supergun and you can play them at the confort of your home.

Well, since it already features video and audio output it wouldn't be that difficult, and there's quite a lot of room in the case. The psu would have to be external though, and controls would be the hardest part, you would need to sacrifice a dedicated naomi control panel or I/O.

Fladipo, all those arcade boards should work in your cab, maybe with some modifications on it. If you want to play them in a TV just get a supergun. CPS1 would be useless to consolize as it is hard to swap games on it. All the others can be consolized with more or less work. All are cart-based except CPS1, and some naomi games are on GDrom as well.

thanks amano....so all i have to do is find a few other cabs without mobo's in them and make sure they are jamma compatable and everything should match right up as far as plugs? i dont wanna use my dedicated cab for these as its almost mint! thanks for all your help. i would much rather go that route and get 3 other cabs one for atomiswave, one for naomi and one for cps2...

Well, if you have room and money for more cabs then it's the best option and go for it...

AW is totally JAMMA with 5 buttons, and AW and naomi are both compatible with both low and hi res. You need an I/O device to make the Naomi JAMMA and uses up to 6 buttons. CPS2 is totally JAMMA and uses up to 6 buttons, you could look for a dedicated cps2 cab.

so my best bet would be to get a dedicated cps 2 cab that has 6 button layout which will accomadate all the systems i want...haha amano i might be payin to fly ur ass out to san diego to wire some stuff up for me! j/k - thanks for all your help tho - once i get the ball rolling im gonna shoot you a pm for help if thats alright?

LOL, I'd love to go to San Diego, it'd be your wiring slave for a while if you paid my ticket :D. Closest I've been there was last year in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Anyway I'm no expert in cabs as I've never owned one, only superguns, so you are better starting a thread here instead of PMing me. Getting a 6 button one for all boards would be nice but would definately need some wiring work to suit all of them, as for example the 3 extra CPS2 buttons are in a kick harness, etc.

Yes and the extra ones for the Atomiswave are out of the jamma harness. you can just put them in the same connector on the switch on the control panel. Fly me out and I will hook up you're stuff. :make_fac:
