Wanted: NeoGeo rom chips, KOF 95, FF2, SS2

I need rom chips for the following NeoGeo carts, they glitch even after extensive cleaning and using another system. King of Fighters 95, Samurai Showdown 2 and Fatal Fury 2. I will pay a somewhat decent amount for them, $5 per game. Better than having rom chips lying around from converted carts. If no one has rom chips, then I could settle for MVS carts. I will just swap the rom chips, so atleast I won't kill the MVS carts, but they will be injured instead of my AES carts haha.

hah I had ss2 from my ghostlop conversion but I'd be surprised if I still had them

Jesus, what in the hell is in there Chris? I would go nuts going through that. I think it would be worth it. So how many games are in there roughly? I will take a guess of maybe 50. What should I do in order to get those seperated? I do appreciate the offer. If I had a ROM reader for those then I would be set I bet. I will maybe get it from you sometime but I have no idea on how to get those right. Is there some sort of romlist for the chip numbers?

There are tons of good games in there, including KOF 95, 96, 97, 98. SS1, SS2, SS3, SSK1-3, FF1, FFS, FF3, etc. You can tell what each chip is for by looking at the numbering on it. They are all printed with the NGH number and what chip it is. I used to bundle them together and mark them, then I got lazy and just started chucking them in a box. I would be a good deal for someone looking for a stock of chips, or if they had a ton of empty MVS/aes boards, to make the games.

I will let you know if I want those for sure. I only need them for 3 games though, but I could end up with a crap copy of FF3 or SSKK games in the future. $100 is a good deal actually for all those rom chips, but its a matter of if I need all of them though.

I have KOF 95 up to 2000 so I don't need those. Also my SS1, SS3, FFS, FF1 etc. works perfect. I may just buy and restore some old dead carts as a project one day, that could be fun.

If I give a list of MVS boards I have would you be able to let me know if any of those chips are compatible with them?

All been restored to MVS versions. All 7 chipsets :kekeke:

As far as the rom chips, was there different variations for those games. The NGH # just has to match right?

I have both SS2 AES boards, the CHA board has a full set of chips on it too. I think I have some of the chips for the PROG board as well. Will check next time i'm at home.

Definitely a lot of people are converting carts with all of these rom chips lying around, hey it is best not to let them go to waste. There is only so much NeoGeo stuff lying around.

And I bet half of them are the hypocrites on the forum who in public are all against these 'bullshit lie' carts but in secret spend all night cracking one off over their 'r@re' games.
