Since noone would answer my question in the other 2 Shonen threads, here it is in a new one: Do you need to understand Japanese in order to play this game? Is it a simple pick you're fighter type of game,or is it a strategy type fighter? Are the menu's simple to understand? I dont feel like sitting infront of a computer 24/7 in order to play the game,I'm just really interested, considering it has charecters from my favorite Anime's. Thanks for the answers. Tim

For the Story Mode? Yes.

For everything else? Not really.

Is it a simple pick you're fighter type of game,or is it a strategy type fighter?

Both.

The gameplay is fairly simple, but the real strategy lies in deck building.

Are the menu's simple to understand?

Once you put in a few hours of play, it's easy.

Aside from the Story Mode, I pretty much have everything figured out.

But you will need to read a FAQ or thread dedicated to the Story Mode aspect of the game, and seeing that a good portion of the game is about unlocking komas [characters] via Story Mode, you will be spending a lot of time with it.

Who cares though, the game is great and well worth the effort it takes for non-Japanese speakers to play.
