2 slot to 4 slot

I have just started getting interested in the NEO GEO world. Theres a local shop that has a two slot neo geo cabinet and I was wondering how hard is to switch out the 2 slot to make a 4 slot arcade cabinet. I was wondering if it would be easier to purchase a 4 slot cab or just purchase the 2 slot cab and then replace with a 4 slot board. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Literally you can just swap a 4 slot for the 2 slot in it.

The only thing that could be missing when going to a 4 slot is room for the extra mini marquees for the extra games, hardly a problem.

Yep I am running a 4 slot board in my Neo 2 slot cab.

The only possible issue may be the sound...

I once Had a converted two slot Cab that took sound off of the Headphone jack rather than the Jamma Connector... Word.

But even then, it's an easy fix to get it up to spec.
