like a mix of spinmaster X/Mario/mega man/mslug really cool, a game that should have got a home port could have saved Data East's ASS?

Great gameplay and cool awesome guest stars eg RAMBO and Freddie Mercury etc
8/10

Osma
Striders german brother or something not as good as Strider 2 but still cool anyway......
7/10

Gunmaster
A mix of SF2/Megaman/mslug Co op Fighting game ala Mega Man the Power Battle except Gunmaster is much, much better gameplay, graphics and level design a really good game. 8/10

Peng Bros
Like a mix of Snow bros/bomberman/Donkey Kong Country Awesome gameplay, graphics as well as a VS mode.... This game rocks hard!
9/10

so peoples pls discuss THNX

slap fight: I loved this game as a kid and still do. I got callused hands from playing it so much. I would sweat like crazy and actually get a work out in my wrist. It's a shooter that didn't have auto fire so i must have pressed that little button over a million times.

there's actually a dif between CF2 and Vendetta

CF2 is uncensored and features homo thugs and dogs in heat

It's Osman (or Cannondancer). All the titles you mentioned have just been emulated for mame last week, right?

Peng Bros

Charlie Ninja, Osman, and (I've never heard of Peng Bros, but I woner if it's "Pang!") are made by Mitchell. Gunmaster is by Metro, a friend of Mitchell Corp. Heh. There's a reason all of those became emulated at once.

Strider 2 = :annoyed: ... and Osman was designed by the creator of Strider.

Ah, why didn't you say so? ;)

Heh, in the future all sorts of credits are going to be misplaced because of people downloading media. How many songs do you think people have downloaded with the incorrect title/artist listed?

Edit: c. 2000

:)

I think the only game I've played on mame that was emulated well was Gunbarich. Don't hold me up to that - but check it out.

"Super Bagman"

Has anyone ever played it? It's very hard and irritating, but it's strangely fun to be a hobo who can smash a hillbilly policeman in the face with a pick! Plus the music and sound effects are funny!

edit to add (I just remembered a few others):

"Pigskin 621AD"

A really strange football game, wherein you play a barbarian warrior with a BAD attitude! Very funny and violent.

"Gravitar"

Not really that obscure, but a really great and challenging old vector game that seems to have been forgotten in time.

Hacha mecha fighter(horisontal scrolling) not many have played this gem, a very colorful and cartoony shooter (almost looks celshaded), it feels alot like parodius cept it has a conventional powerup system.
bonus points rain in as different fruits kind reminiscent of bubble bobble games, and also by finding a secret monkey on each stage high scores are possible, however it takes alot of skill too keep the monkey from escaping.
game turns out to be hard as nails a few stages in, but never cheap.
great game :)

Quiz n dragons its basically a quiz RPG, you throw a dice and your character moves around the playing field, once you stop there can be a foe or a friendly or just a bonus, whatever it is you must answer a question, usually involving 80s and 90s current events, if youre a fan of everything 80s like myself youll love this, you will anyway because the game is absoluteley ACE, thought it would be boring but far from it, recommended to everyone (tho it helps if you were alive to remember the 80s and early 90s), its also the PERFECT game to put in your cab at a party - drunken multiplayer is absoluteley brilliant!

Final star force (vertical scrolling) never heard of this sequel (?) to star force before i picked it up, never really liked star force anyhoo which is why i was glad to see this a completely different game, a straight shooter that might as well have "Toaplan" written all over it, looks and sounds fantastic, plays flawlessy, get EXTREMELY hard and is one of those lots-of-levels games (ive made it to 18 once), ive never seen it before so it might be rare?

Major Havoc

The game itself might not be super rare but the dedicated version sure is. Anyone ever play it?

Numan Athletics. Nuff said.

Ever play Mach Breakers? Any good? I was disappointed with Numan Athletics... I guess I was expecting a little more "Crash n' the Boys: Street Challenge".

I ve allways thought Biomechanical Toy to be a verry poorly known gem due to its spanish nature (it was made by ZEUS, the company that made among others Risky Woods on AMIGA/PC). :)

GK, Crime Fighters 2 is that early 90s Konami game, right?

I don't think the Buster Bros. series (Super Pang! series overseas) gets enough love. At first, I found it to be too boring..but then it grew on me, and it became an addictive puzzler for me. Can't say I find the last installment thrilling, but the first two games are mint.

This game has been on my want list for years now.

As for others ,a few months back someone mentioned a Bonk Arcade game that seems quite rare......BC Kid :)
