Mortal Kombat 1 Sound problems

I picked up a MK1 main board and sound board. The only cable it came with was the grey ribbon cable. I made my own harness for the speakers and to get power to the sound board from the main board. I to make also need to make a volume pot harness. So my main question is, what type/ohm value of pot do I need for it. I do not have a manual for the board to look up this info. Any help would be appreciated.
