My poop has been like chocolate pudding lately. I've spent like $1.50 this week on toilet paper!

This fast? Wow I can barely believe it. Once we get some confirmations I won't hesitate to update later on this month.

Dont update just yet. All he has done is get a prog to not show up as corrupt, this is far from running code. Give it time though, it is a step in the right direction. The swaploit/kxploit started off life in this way.

I'd give it a week. Usually the more a company tries to secure something, the more it makes it easier for someone to find a loophole that is overlooked.

Well, with the added stuff into the 2.0 firmware, odds were that they opened up some new doors. Anything can be broken given enough time.

Honestly, I wasn't to impressed with running homebrew on my PSP. Not only was most of it slow and required frameskip (which I hate), the low refresh of the PSP LCD gave some pretty bad ghosting in games. Castlevania titles especailly.

I ended up updating to the 2.0 firmware because I noticed dead pixels popping up on my PSP. I promply picked up my 2 year warranty from Best Buy and got it replaced, hassle free. Second PSP, dead pixels, up on the D-pad didn't work unless pressed extremely hard, and square button is off center. Took it back, no problem. Third PSP, square button is off center, but works no problem. Two dead pixels. I'm running RGB flasher to see if it can get them unstuck, but if all else fails, Best Buy will see me again.

In short, I'm going to get a good PSP, homebrew firmware or not. Then I'll worry about playing "da roMz", as I don't think they play very well to begin with. Which is sad, since there is so little in the PSP library that interest me at the moment, and for a long time coming. Oh well, at least the DS software library is starting to get kicking.

I would hope that if it were cracked, they would have the decency to wait till after it has been released in Europe before going public.

It will be cracked soon. The more that SOny tries, the more they fail. Happens to the best companies. Now Sony is attacking Lik-Sang and Play-Asia for selling PSP units to European customers. Sounds lame to me.
