hi quite a long ago i ve been selling about 46 AES games here
i was also open to trades
so one guy mailed me to offer me a phantom converter against four of my games
World heroes 2
Art Of Fighting 2 Jap
Baseball stars 2
Art Of Fighting

so we both shipped at the same time ; he said there would be a tracking number on the parcel
i don t know his member name as he mailed me saying he saw the post here and that he has dealt with quite a few members

as i had already done a few flawless trade i didn t really investigate about him but i shipped on february 02 and i ve never heard of him again

I looked and there is/was a member here by the name of FullDeck. He only had 7 posts and none since Feb. 4th!

I never heard of the guy and there is listings all over New York for that name but not that particular address. I did'nt think that would be a common name,wow was I surprised.

The trade itself also sounds too good to be true.. a 270$ converter, for around 100-120$ worth of AES stuff.

If #1 is less than $1000... and #2 is no... don't worry about it.

the deal was that i was giving him about 150$ of games and given i had to pay around 50$ of shipping fees that would be about 200 which is quite worth a used phantom

The Address looks very familiar, but the name does not.

I have sold alot of stuff and only shipped a handful of times to New York. I'll look into my Paypal History........ I usually only take paypal for payment so all address should be there.

I'll take a look at this when I get home from work.

I just looked at old e-mail and he PM'ed me on 2/13/03 about a Blue Phantom Converter he wanted to sell me for $200.00 shipped and that he has never done deals on these forums but he has 5 people as references. I declined because I did not want to do it! Just thought I would let you know! No other info though! Good Luck!

Why you would ship products to someone without having payment/goods first is baffling to me. This business of "shipping at the same time" is idiotic, someone can just SAY they shipped when they did nothing at all (especially if you don't know them and/or have never dealt with them). You're a longtime member, it just seems sloppy to operate that way. oh_no

i ve also done about 5 trades of this kind "ship on the same time" and they all went flawlessly so i got confident

I looked into my Paypal Account History but it will only let me take a look at the most recent transactions.

There is an option to review All Paypal History........... but when I have tried it, it did not work.

It seems like I can download the information but I need to unzip or uncompress the file. Anyone know how to do this?

I am 90% sure I have mailed a package to that Address before, the name was different though..... I cant remember it but I am real sure if I can look into my paypal history I can find all the address and email address to everyone I have sold to here on the boards who have paid me with paypal. wink

OK I figured out how to look at all my paypal history.

Unfortunatly I could not find this guys information through paypal. I must have bought something from that guy or he must have paid me via Money Order.

I did however find another member I had sold to with an almost exact same zipcode!!!
