We at my work have just recently trashed 2 alpine racers, the big deluxe ones with projection screens and whatnot. To my surprise, while scrapping the behemoths out, i found two beautiful little devices called, "RGB/NTSC Converter Rev. A"
Wow, sweet! Now, the game board itself outputs RGB, so I know the mini converter board is supposed to output S-VID or Composite. My question, my dillemma is, I cant figure it out! I have pics, but still dont know how to upload them. In a nutshell though, there are two inputs on the board, one 6 pin male, and one 7 pin male. now, the six is simply labled "R G B" like its supposed to have 2 of each to the pins, and the 7 pin connection is a little weirder, it looks like 2 pins are reserved for "S" (sync?) and four are for "VCC" no idea what that is. Im going to grab the manual tommorow, see if that helps, but any ideas in the meantime would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
