eBay Scammer: dajei aka Jackson Ramos Severino

Well, some time ago I "won" the following auction:

The timetable of events in chronological order:

- I wire the payment to his bank account
- He claims he did not receive the payment
- I report the item as not received to eBay
- He files an unpaid item dispute with eBay
- I pay my bank €25 for an investigation to prove that the payment was received by his bank and email him the info
- He admits to receiving the payment, claiming that the local branch of his bank made a mistake when transfering the money
- He assures me that he's gonna send out the package asap and email me the EMS tracking number immediately afterwards
- A week goes by, no package, no tracking number
- I email him asking what's up, he tells me that he can only go to the post office on Mondays but he's gonna get back to me once he's sent out the package
- Another week goes by, still no package, no tracking number
- I email him again, giving him a deadline until past Friday to either send out the package or wire the payment back to my bank account, otherwise I'm gonna file for eBay buyer protection (so I can at least cover a few of my losses)
- Deadline passes, haven't heard back from him yet ...

I get ripped off on Ebay 2-3 times a year.

My advice/suggestion is that Ebay needs to step the fuck up and start taking some of these bastards out. Ebay/Paypal really don't give a shit a long as they get their fees.

Not everybody is a rip off merchant on eBay though, you just have to be careful and hope for the best.

Heh, that would be too funny. I've already thought long and hard about doing this myself, but it's simply too expensive and time-consuming for me to travel there.

Anyways, take good care of yourself should you decide to pay that fucker a visit. From what little info I could gather he ain't no Spaniard but rather an immigrant from Latin America or the Caribbean, if that makes any difference.

I'll for sure see what I can do while I'm there and very confident I can take care of myself I'm not worried about it I'm sure they wouldn't be expecting that at all!

I got ripped off as well on Ebay years ago.

But it was only around $7.00

Keep your fucking book asshole.

This is why I never deal with people who have less than 99.98% on their rating. No matter how much I want the item, too much negative feed back means too much risk.

Yeah, and on top of that I also look to see if they were the seller most of the times during those transactions.

I don't deal with anyone on ebay that has lower than 95% as their positive feedback score.
If they have negiative feedback I check them out to see if it's some idiot complaining about an NTSC game not working on his PAL console.
Allot of negatives are exactly that, allot of people are stupid.

I haven't had a problem with any sellers yet, been eBaying since 2003.

This is why you always use paypal. Even if it sucks ass.

I'm sorry to hear that this stuff is still happening to people. I don't use online auctions when buying anymore. I got fucked buying on Ebay many times and I really got fucked selling. I bought an import PS2 a number of years ago off this jerk in NY. It took 2 months to get my system then it came from China with the wrong games. I bought a Neo Geo AES off a guy in Canada and it came all messed up with cracks in the case.

I just graduated from school with a degree in Criminal Justice / Cyber Crime.
Nobody offered me a job so I am going back to get my Bachelors degree.
There are people out there that are being trained for this shit but nobody is hiring us. I have police training and information technology training and no work. I even had classes in computer forensics and steganography.

I would love to do an undercover online sting on some of these motherfuckers.
