I know there's already been a post on this, but I was wondering what most people here do.

I've received some complaints about the sound that the CPS2 A board fan makes, and I'm on the fence about disconnecting it.

As far as my personal predicament goes, I use a supergun setup, not a cab.

Nop, I always disconnect it, I use a supergun and never have the CPS2 on more than 1 hour, so it's fine.

I can't even hear it when its in my cab. For short term play in a supergun, disconnect it.

I replaced teh fan, so it doesn't sound like a dentist drill anymore, so I leave it connected.

I have the boards loose in the cab, no case, so a fan is not really required anyway

In a case I would disconnect the fan or run it at a lower speed (MKLs mod) if it was noisey. Run it of a lower voltage to maintain some air flow.
