Is it possible to get these with RGB quality? A friend of mine has one, but it's only AV and thus, looks like crap.

Ive seen VGA to RGB adaptors, so maybe that would work without messing up the quality too much.

But I dont think they make video cards with RGB built in.

Yah, but isn't that for arcade monitors.

I meant my TV.

An RGB TV is nearly identicle to a RGB monitor.

Ah I see. Is there perhaps a possibility to just mod the cable to output RGB?

Your VGA card uses 31 Khz RGB (With Horiz and Vert. Syncs Seperate)

Some VGA cards can be forced into 15khz (TV standard) RGB.

But if you get the setup broken recomended, it will output 15khz RGB nativly.

For there, you can run it to an SCART socket. Remeber to connect the composite sync to both the sync and composite video pins as some Euro sets take the sync off the video.

I could be wrong about the last part. I'm a stupid Yankee who is in awe of Color Difference Component.

I'm no tech dude, so that kinda makes no sense to me

Anyway, what would be the cheapest and sure way to display my monitor via RGB on my TV?

Perhaps anyone can mod such a cable?

thanks for the info, but I guess I'll still have to buy that VGA cart....besides, it says on the page it can damage your TV...that shit cost me $1200 and I''m not taking any chances...

Ah well, perhaps I'll get one of those cards when I have a new PC.
