Commodore 1084 to Neo RGB cable

I've got the pinouts from gamesx, now I just need a how to on parts needed and how to put it all together.

Here is my plan:

Take a psx scart cable, chop both ends, solder the monitor end to a 6 pin din for the 1084 and solder the neo end to an 8 pin din.

I am assuming radio shack would have the 6 and 8 pin male din plugs.

Any feedback on the validity of my plan or suggestions on how to make this work are greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the monitor right? Isn't the comodor monitor a 9 pin connector with some unused pins? I know my amiga is.

yup... radioshack carries shit... they have cheap stuff marked at high prices.
