Magician Lord box is in good shape however, it is missing the 3 outer flaps. Plastic tray has a few cracks as well. The cart shows usual wear from being inserted and the label is peeling a bit on the top right. Manual is a photcopy.
There seem to be 2 versions of this game (varying difficulty), this is the one where you do not start off where you died after losing a life.

Cart is in good shape and has gold warning sticker on it no marquee. Music can be scratchy, usually goes away after re-inserting the cart. Opened it up and there are a few eproms! Looks like a repair job, the boards are SNK.
