Wouldn't a Samurai Spirits/Shodown section be nice?

Sorting through all of the Ban threads I didn't see a thread that Suggested a Samurai Shodown section in the sections part of the forums. Since there's a KOF section I just wanted to suggest a Samurai Spirits/Shodown section.

wouldn't be a bad idea (weapon fighting) or something so it could include ninja masters and ... and kabuki clash

although then the slug/misc freaks would moan becauase they have no dedicated space, but a heavy machine guns a weapon right?

good idea on the michael flatley section too - man's a god.

the funny thing is that you spelled ninja masters the way it was supposed to be spelled, but the translators spelled it Ninja Master's.......Ninja Master's what? i ask back.

Yeah I guess Last blade and other weapons fighters should be put in (though I like Soul Calibur, I don't think that would be allowed since it's not a Neo Geo game). I just though up Samurai Shodown since it was my favorite among them, but the others would be great contributors to this potential section.

Soul calibur was a joke, people. It was te only other game I could think of that had weapons (and I like, which is why MK: Decrption didn't get mentioned).

I don't think we really need any more forums. We have a hard enough time keeping the ones we've got active. A Samurai Shodown forum might see more action than the KoF forum, but I don't think either would see enough to justify their existence.

It wouldn't, believe me. Perhaps there would be some nice threads popping up during the first week or so, but then it would die off.

I mean, just start a more technical/gameplay thread about Samsho 3 than the usual "which Samsho do you like best?" crap, I bet you would not get more than ten replies, if at all.

Ppl are quick to demand new forums, but veeery slow to populate the new forums with good stuff... that's a fact.

Thanks for the insult Takumaji. Just kidding. I didn't really demand the forum though I just suggested it, and I think others were just trying to agree. I see your point, but I am actually a devoted SS fan and I am well aware of the difficulty of keeping up good topics. If there are more people like you who know about the SS series then I'm sure the section would survive. Still topics about which version is a favorite are bound to happen. We should just reply (or not), and go to the more difficult/interesting topics.

A section like this could also help keep up news for SS games to come (hopefully to come). A section devoted to SS might get people more interested in the series and could actually teach some people about how good it is (I know that is a best case senerio). To see the section rise and fall (worse case scenerio) wouldn't be that bad would it?

What I'm trying to say is this, we have a KoF forum, but the number of "good" (I know this is kinda subjective) topics is very small and the number of newly-started good topics is even smaller.

Still, KoF is more popular than SS, but it only gets a small handful of topics. If you continue this line of thinking, a SS forum would get even less replies/new topics and therefore would be useless.

Oh, and to comment on the usual "KoF forum suxx" opinion, well, I kinda.. KINDA agree. It's really sad what the forum turned into, and I wouldn't mind anymore to see it getting reworked/renamed, but e.g. turning it into a SS forum would lead to similar results - a forum full of polls and "who's your fave chara", but with only a select few of worthwhile topics.

I'm leaning towards a relaunch of the "All About Fighters" forum, but not without giving the existing gameplay-related forums a proper facelift.

Anyway, thanks for your suggestions.
