Super Gun Problems :( HELP ME!

Hi Guys,

I need some help with 2 questions that I can't for life of me figure out.

1. When I use my super gun, scart to composite converter and my 4 slot mobo the picture looks great but the top quarter of the screen is just a green/blue colour.

When I use the same as above but with a 1 slot mobo it works fine. Any ideas?

2. Can I plug my AW mobo striaght into my neo cab and it will work fine all but the 5 button being select?

Yes, as long as sound is wired for mono, and the AW is set to low-res. Also some people has mentioned that the AW video is too bright in most cabs. Yes, the 5th button will be select.

What if it was wired for Stereo, how will the sounds be?
cuz i tried mine on different tv's and the sounds are very low.

Did you try your 4 slot mobo with an other supergun/cab to see if the problem is still there?

Hi Robert,

Yeah my 4 slot is from an original Neo Geo cab sitting in my room and work perfectly.

It just doesn't make any sense.

Well I'm still newbie but to me it sounds like a power problem.

May I ask if your supergun uses and arcade PSU or a transformer type one?

This does sound like a power problem. Any time I see an incomplete/skewed screen it's usually due to a power issue.

Yeah that is what I thought at first but it works fine with my 1 slot.

What is the dif between a 1 and 4 slot mobo?
