Where can I find these please gang or anything that can be used to store PCBs in without harming them? Preferably in the UK.
I have a load of this white spongy stuff like what Playstations are wrapped in in their boxes, would that work ok?
How about plain old bubble wrap?

Thanx.

There was someone trying to organise a group bulk purchase around here a while back, but I can not locate the thread now.

I can get them out of Oz for about 25 pence per bag 380 x 450 mm (you can always join two together for large boards)

You gotta be able to get them easily in the UK ?

edit, straight plastic or bubble wrap can actually generate static electricity, so not recommended.

Hey or ya can just do like I do and pop into your local PC hardware vendor (that no doubt build systems in addition to selling parts) and simply ask to grab what ever MoBo anti-static bags they have. Ya get all shapes and sizes, the nice silvery translucent ones and the cheaper clear ones with the black cross hatch lines on em, but hey, they've got no use for em so you might as well help em remove some of their clutter and look after your PCBs at the same time!!

Rock on and long live the old school! :buttrock:
