Weird Puzzle Bobble Neo Geo Cart???

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question for all the Neo Geo geeks out there

Try explaining this,

1. Cart Labelled "Puzzle Bobble".

2. Plugs into my 2-slot Mobo.

3. Comes up "Puzzle Bobble" as you would think.

4. Take it out and plug it into my 4-slot mobo

5. Should come up with "Puzzle Bobble" RIGHT! Wrong, comes up with
"Bust-A-Move" now am I insanely stupid? Seeing thing? Paranoid? or WHAT?

I just don't freakin get it! I bought the cart and complained it wasn't Puzzle Bobble cos when I plugged it into my 4 slot it came up as "bust-a-move" but now when I plug it into my 2-slot it comes up with "Puzzle-Bobble" I thought I was going mad.

The name is either Puzzle Bobble or Bust-A-Move depending on what region the BIOS is. I think it only displays Bust-A-Move if it's on a USA board, and it displays Puzzle Bobble for a UK or JPN board.

And I could see something like this driving a person nuts. ...especially if there wasn't a site like this(with techs) for answers..

Correct. If the bios is Japanese or European it will be Puzzle Bobble, if it's American, it will be Bust A Move.

Thanks Guys I had to call the guy up and appologise like a dog with its tail between its legs LOL
I figured it might have been bios related but wasn't sure and didn't wana seem like a dick!
