Wow, I'm picking one of those up. And I don't even really need one... yet :glee:

Sweet price! I have one of those that was only $10 that I got from a guy, who runs a local shop selling and repairing cabs for individuals. Mine was used though...

Still, very sweet price. Thanks for sharing the knowledge, Toddy! :)

Mike says it has problems running games with a large current draw. Have you run into anything thay gave you troubles?

I saw that too.

Looking at the current ratings on that psu, I couldn't imagine that being a problem. Even power hungry boards like the Rev 1 Hyper shouldn't have any issue with it.

You would have no problem running a six slot from that power supply (in fact it would run two simultaniously) and just about any jamma board set. Nintendo is mentioned, I dont know what sort of current the early Nintendo pre jamma boards draw ???

Hey Mike, I should be on a commission here
;)

Edit: Mikes Arcade are brilliant to deal with, just received a Galaga enhancement pack (high score saves, rapid fire option, bug fixes) http://mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=HSGALAGA a couple of joysticks and a few other small items, switches etc.

Goods arrived in PNG only 6 days after the order was placed, i was advised the moment of dispatch of the USPS (EMS overseas) tracking #. It arrived in PNG before anything from Australia which is an hours flight away ever has, and the freight cost was realistic at $ 20.
The EMS guys here phoned me as soon as the parcel arrived = perfect transaction.

So its a plug for Mikes Arcade and a plug for USPS and EMS.
