Atomiswave: Coin Error

I just got the atomiswave, I connected it to the supergun
when i turned it on the sammy logo comes, then a "coin error" message comes then it restarts again?
BUT if i keep pressing and holding on the coin button, the game loads and starts normally, but when i release it the error comes again??

anyone knows what's wrong?

There's a problem with your coin button, it acts as if it was always pressed, and the AW outputs the error message and resets if that happens. Check your coin button wiring and repair it so it is only connected when it is pressed.

Move one of the wires on the microswitch for your coin button from the NC (normally closed) pin to the NO (normally open) pin. This should do it. Your coin switch is staying on all the time and turning off when you press the button, instead of the other way around. Moving the wire should fix this.

I think that it could be an internal coin setting.

This problem is as mentioned, an always ON momentary switch. I built the supergun and discovered this much later with a different one for someone else. I got a batch that was mislabeled and it's something you can't tell with Neo Geo which is what the test for the system was, so didn't see it with Atomiswave.
