CPS2 Graphic Corruption

Hi,

I just got another CPS2 Board it was running fine, but recently, the games graphics have become corrupted (lines through sprites etc) I tried removing the rom board from the mobo, and it seemed to change the sprite corruption, but it didnt fix it. All of the pins look ok, so i dont know what is going on. Any ideas?

Most likely, it's a bad connection between the A and B boards, try to clean the connectors and insert the B board very firmly. Using those clips that hold together the 2 boards can help too.

Yea, make sure everything is lined up, and push down kinda hard on all 4 connections to get a good connection. You may hear noises that may seem like you're breaking it, but you're not.

While running, Push down on the board from different angels and see if that helps.

I just got a can of compressed air and blew out the contacts and then re-seated it (with force ) works well, and thats a load of my chest (armored warriors for $50 )
