Hello everyone,

I current have a new SGI 17" monitor that I am not using. I went on online to SGI.com and found the specs of the monitor. The hertz range is 30-82. Can this monitor be used for arcade games. More importantly, can I have a cable created to hook this up to say a Supergun?

Thanks!

Not familiar with that monitor, but if it has rgb inputs and runs at 15 KHz it should work.
Do you have a link to the other specs.

I believe 30-82khz is the horizontal frequency range, not good for the vast majority of arcade games (would only work with stuff like Naomi, Atomiswave).

Yes, that is the monitor. I am wondering if I could use this for say, Naomi and medium resolution arcade games.

That looks like a VGA monitor, you would need RGB inputs
