Pulstar question

My copy of Pulstar just arrived but upon playing I discovered that the screen stutters a bit when it goes from a demo run into title screen. From the little I played thus far I remember this also happens after you die, there seems to be a tiny stutter in the screen. It's nothing much but I was just wondering if other people's copies have this or that they shipped me a poor copy/conversion ?

Hope some of you can clear this up for me.
