component to vga signal conversion?

Does anyone know how I would go about converting a component video to a vga signal? what I want to be able to do, is hook a dvd player up to my comp monitor (which has dual inputs, that are switchable via a button on the front). I may also use a similar technique for other arcade stuff down the line. Thanks.

If the signal is interlaced go for Micomsoft's XRGB2+. Unfortunately it does not support HDefinition YPrPb COmponent. In that case buy XSelect-D4 which transcodes 480p and 720p to VGA
