norton9478 said:Sounds good.....
I didn't know that they were easy to hack.....
The one I bought had adjustable Turbo settings also.......
You could get two SPST (momentary) pushbuttons, an LED and have turbo capabilites.

Make cheap project cases.
I don't like soldering in wholes because the are often too small...
roker said:I have some crappy controlers in my basement
now where do I get the following parts:
controller port
project box
?
zapatistab said:You can get them at most electronic stores. Radio Shack, Fry's Electronics, etc....
I purchase mine at Fry's electronics. The controller ports at Fry's are 99 cents.
Same for the Project boxes. ($7.99) There's also Ebay, if you don't want to leave your house.
Make sure you get DB15 controller ports. I believe there are two types of 15 pin controller ports.
roker said:no go at Radio Shack, guess I'll have to try eBay

roker said:I ripped a db15 port from an old gravis pad
should be fine, plus, I need some practice first
here's my question, am I matching the right side with this:
![]()
with
![]()
OR am I supposed to match the top diagram with the backside of the port?
zapatistab said:You are suppose to use the back side of the ports. Most if not all, will be numbered. If the back of the port is white, then sometimes the numbers are hard to see.
roker said:so I'm going to buy one of those ports
now where do I find the project box on those websites?
