That's a one time cost though. If I cared enough I would probably try and invest in one. Has any PSP even come close to filling up the UMD? All 1.8 GB.

So far, none of the games I have seen are over 450+ MB...

Downloading Coded Arms now :kekeke:

Y'know, this is a good way to test out games before you buy them, I'm going to pick up the REAL Mercury today.

I love handheld systems and I just don't feel right having a game on a memory stick.

I guess thats the way some of you feel about Neo Geo....

I guess you can pass the humble pie with a side of hipocrite ice cream :(

Oh no, of course not.

We should all enjoy playing ROMs.

I mean, why buy an Xbox or PSP? For the software lineup? Pfffft!

C'mon $45 for a new game? Highway robbery if you ask me. Game designers drive ferraris and are part-time supermodels anyways. They don't need your money.

It would be sweet if these crackers could support usb thumb drives or hard drives. It would be sooooo much cheaper to rip off games then. :kekeke: Plus then I could fill a 4gb thumbdrive up with tons of video content, also I would like a video player that supported randomized playlists.

Most games are less than 1gig... I have also seen games as small as 16MB!

There's actually usb hard drives that are compatible with PSP, but you can't directly play their content in the PSP, but you can transfer the content from them to your PSP MS without needing a PC.

About the size of PSP games, most are some hundreds of MB, but there are some that are bigger than 1GB (although it might be possible to rip them). The UMD limit size is about 1.8 GB though now.

I purchased Mercury about an hour ago, very innovative game... I thought it sucked at first.
