I recently bought a Neo Geo Pocket Color with some games, but I haven't bought any puzzle game yet. I've played Puzzle Booble and Magical Drop and I prefer the second one, but i haven't ever played any other puzzle game available in the handheld.

Any recommendations?

thks!

Personally I think all the puzzle games are quite mantastic, but Delta Warp, Puyo Pop, and Puzzle Bobble Mini are my standout favorites.

Can you tell me something more about Delta Warp?

You flip a triangle with a light and dark side on a board formed from triangle shapes to collect warp power. Only the triangle side with the same color as the warp power can be collected, and once you collect all the warp power on one level, you advance to the next level.

The game mechanic is very simple, and with each successive level there are new hazards that make the game more and more interesting, like glass floors which can crack and break, some special triangle ruler floors that can cripple your triangle, multiple vertical layers in a level, etc. I'm only half way through the game, but there's tons of things one can challenge, like finish a level with the shortest time possible, shortest path possible.

It was a JPN only release, but it is a dual language cart. My guess is the game was developed earlier before the announced SNK pullout from overseas market.

I'm a Magical Drop fan myself, but honestly all of the puzzle games for the Pocket are really good.

Well, I've been playing Puyo Puyo on SNES this week and I'm decided to buy Puyo Pop for NGPC. I've tried in PlayAsia and LikSang but there are all sold. I'm looking for any version, loose or whatever. Anyone knows an online shop with stock?

thks!

The Neo Store has some Puyo Puyo 2 (Same as Puyo Pop, but JPN version) games still. You might want to email ahead of time to check and see if Shawn is delivering his packages and not still sucked into WoW though.
