PSP Tenchu: Shinobi Taizen; playable if imported?

A friend recently introduced me to this series on PS2 and I enjoyed what little I played. But playing through a single part of one level didn't exactly give me insight into how much story I would have to read through or menus and what not.

So basically my question is if I were to grab the JPN copy of this game later this month, would it be pretty easy to play through as far as language concerns go? My Japanese is pretty bad (1 year in college isn't as much as you'd think) so I don't have that going for me. Thanks in advance.

Going by past JPN versions of Tenchu. There isn't any English text at all. Even the options and title screens are all Japanese. Trial and error should get you through all right, unless you're not accustomed to playing games that you cannot understand.
