Ok I'm wanting to make sure I understand pots I want to add 3 knobs for RGB adjustments. I found these knobs that will fit where I want them and I like em

http://www.nteinc.com/pot_web/jd.html
1/2" diameter 1/4" shaft diameter Black Gloss

So now I guess I don't know what kind of pot I need and how it gets hooked up from the RGB line.

Thanks for the help :p

Thanks for the link I get that part now :)

So I found these I think they'll work stop me now if something is horribly wrong :p

potentiometer.jpg

500 ohm, 10 turn, 2 watt, Precision, 1/4 inch metal slotted shaft, Wire wound, +-5 Tolerance, Linear Taper with Solder Lug Terminals, 3/8 inch diameter plain bushing, with 7/8 inch diameter Body.

Assuming I understand the size of it, is all the spec stuff ok, sounds like it to me, and that 1/4 inch shaft will fit into the 1/4inch shaft diameter on the knobs I want

It will work, but do you really need a 10 turn pot for this, just a normal 270 deg pot would suffice.

your supergun's going to look SSSEEEEEEEXXXXXAAAAYYY!!!! :emb: It's better overkill than underkill for the 10 position on the pots in my mind... how can more exact be worse?
