What's the pinout of this pin header for the headphones? Is there a ready made adapter for this or will I have to fashion my own?

Awesome. Is there a part that someone has found that connects to this or will I have to order a multi-pin header and break off all but 4?

I am pretty sure I have read that some folks have had luck with a 4 pin floppy drive power connector.

When I looked at it, that's what my brain said. I'll try stickin one on there tonight. The pins got bent sometime between it leaving its original home and getting to me. It'd be cool to get one of those memory card readers. Where can I get one?

that cable is a 4 pin CDROM audio cable. That's what I'm using to get sound out of my 1F and my 4 slot.

If you want the exact matching connector you can use this one here:

You just have to remove one wire but it will fit perfectly anyway since it's the same manufacturer's part (JST).

You can get it from Himuragames for...heh, 9 bucks.

BONUS on the CD-ROM cable. I've got plenty of those hanging around somewhere. My cabinet is a converted Nintendo cabinet and is mono ATM. I'm thinking about putting a 2.1 audio system in it run off of the headphone jack.

This works better than I would've thought. The sound has a hum sometimes but I gotta blow out the volume slider.

doesn't it though? I have my cdrom connector connected to a 1/8 inch headphone jack, and then my speakers connected that way, so if I wanna use headphones (to play Metal Slug at midnight!), I can just swap them.
