MV-1C consolization. Pad IC power requirement?

Greetings one and all.

If I was to consolize an MV-1C, would I have to do anything fancy to get it to work with a Neo CD Pad?

I am aware that the Pad has IC's present and that they require power (5v?).

My question is:
If I wire the joypad ports straight from the JAMMA edge connector (a la pinout) will it supply the pad with the required power or will I need to route the power into the joypad port from elsewhere?

Many thanks.

Yeah, the +5v is all the same... Take it right off the edge connector....

How are you consolizing it?
If the connector shows, it would look niceer if you took the +5 from an IC chip....

Don't worry, mate. It'll all be in a case. :)

In fact, I would go so far as to say that you will never have seen anything remotely like it.... ;)

Thanks for the info, mate.

Much appreciated.
