Came out today in the U.S. what do you guys think of it? Those who have had it imported, and those who picked it up today? I like it. It's a nice little puzzle game that's above average when compared to Lumines, Puyo Pop, and Puzzle fighter.

Bought it yesterday and logged in about an hour and a half of play time.
It definitely deserves the high review scores it's been getting.

Very innovative with great 2D graphics...the animations for drill bombs etc look fantastic.
Of course, zero load times make the experience all the better :D

Got it yesterday. So far its very fun. Id say Lumines is a little better simply because its more user friendly. But Meteos certainly has alot of depth. And more game modes then Lumines. And it can be very challenging when going against 3 other players. One of the best DS games yet.

Holy shit.

I dont normally play my portables at home. I usually save that for when I am at work or at a friends or on the road.

Meteos is the shit.

I played this for about 3 hours tonight. I like it better than Lumines. It is sorta like a weird DDR that you play with a stylus.

Best puzzle game on a portable I think.

I can't decide which one I prefer. I like the whole idea of Meteos but Lummies seems a little easier to play.

Anyway, they are both great and you really can't go wrong with either.

I also really like it so far. It has a bit more frantic of a feel to it than Lumines. I still like Lumines better, but once you get in the groove, Meteos is an awesome play, as well. I like how even though it's not the main focus of the game, Q? made the music interact with the gameplay, just like in Lumines and Rez. Hope they keep that concept going indefinitely.

I would buy a DS just to play Meteos if I didn't already have one.

played the wireless demo, in 2 player two, I thought it was awful

you just rub the screen, and if you can be assed rub the squares to make them match up, but you dont even need to, just rub the screen randomly

lasted about 10 minutes before ZZZ boring.

polarium owns it for free.

the fun and strategy involves rubbing the screen for ten minutes, then selling it and buying polarium for a proper puzzler :)
