MVS Mobo Questions

I've made the decision to try the MVS route. I bought the MV1-F and MV1-A boards (Boxed with matching Serials and instructions!) and was just wanting to know a little about each board. I read alot on the Hard MVS site but still have a few questions. Which would be the best to use with the Supergun i'am looking to purchase? Are they any compatability problems with either board? I noticed one of the boards has a Battery on board, does this store game data in the same way the Neo CD does (Both Boards lack Memory card ports/connections)? If not what is it for? Plus if you have any experiance/input with either board that could help that would be great!

The NiCd is to back up the calander, soft dip settings (red blood, bounce,language if the bios supports) and high score in some games I believe

Go for the MV-2F one, it has a built in memory card reader & supports stereo. Hell, you can even consolize it if you just want to play MVS.
