in the ngf.com home cart listings it mentions this at the very bottom:

* AES cartridges that are converted from the Neo arcade version for use on the AES system. These are specialty
cartridges for the serious NeoGeoFreak collectors. These high end cartridges have the exact same look as the
common released AES cartridges. The NGF cartridges are what makes a collection go from normal to Freak!!

does this mean that they are all bootleg fakes???

Actaully, most of them are offical parts... the unoffical parts of these games are the sticker, insert and if they have one a manual. In rare cases, the chips in the cartridge are bootlegs, but most times not. They are made from real SNK parts, that anyone with know how can build from the parts. NGF just charges the extra bucks for the homebrew bootleg art.

Yes, but they all come with a free, unofficial, dion dakis autograph in the carts! That more than makes up for the lousy conversion job those basement-dwelling lab-monkeys do (lab tests still pending on dried white stuff splattered all over the inside of the carts).
