I want to replace these cheap red plastic ones that came with mine and I bought a pair of Sanwa J-Sticks but it doesn't look like they are compatible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :help:

What do you mean?

Do they not fit?

re: controls

They have multiple connectors on them as opposed to the sticks that are already in there which have just one connector on them. Additionally, the sanwas have mounting screw holes in different places than the ones in the cab.

Thanks for your reply. Also, do you know how to install wires into the harness? I have a harness running from my mvs 4-slot to the jamma without a left speaker wire in it for stereo sound or a select button. The sound is atrocious!

Althoug the connectors might be different, you can still use the new controller.

You will just have to solder the wires directly from the harness.

You may need to drill new holes in the cab. Or if possible, drill new holes in the joystick.

The controls in your cab are most likelly seimitsu joysticks which have a bigger mounting surface than sanwas do. If you want to use the sanwas, you'll have to drill some new holes. Otherwise, buy some replacement seimitsus.

Himura Games has both Sanwa and Seimetsu sticks.

And he is n New York, so shipping should be a little less.
