HELP!!! PS2/Xbox ---> USB converter without crappy delay?!

I know this has been brought up a couple times, but I can't seem to find an answer on the subject.

I have a typical play-asia PS2--->USB converter. Works great except for that split-second shitty delay. I've seen similar ones at Fry's for both PS2 and Xbox. Has anyone actually used these in Mame for fighters, and if so have you found one with no shitty-ass delay?!

I have my media PC all set up and everything...but I can't play games on it because of this dilemna. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a "crappy" lik sang dual controller adapter, and I don't notice any delay...

My radio shack ps2 adapter seems to work fine.
But, i havent used it much since i got the uber brilliant USB sega saturn pad.
