This is nice to see, seems like every sport but hockey realizes that labor stoppages aren't good for fan support (even baseball came up with an agreement at the last minute a few years ago).

Looks like some very fair compromises were made to appease both sides, good agreement, IMO.

thats good for the nba. the nhl is screwed. I have completely lost interest in whatever kind of product comes back from the nhl.

Since I only like Hockey and Football...I am the one that is screwed considering there may never be another hockey season again. :mad:

a lockout would have destroyed the NBA, esp. since this was the best year ever IMO, playoffs as well (maybe not the best finals).

hockey is dead in america, but i feel bad for the players they don't get paid shit compared to the other sports.

I didn't know people still watched Basketball.

Over here in the Bay Area (California) it seems like only sports writters and Radio Sports talk host watch Basketball.

hockey is dying in Canada as well. it's just getting too boring and the league is getting washed out with mediocre players to fill all those gaps necessary because of retarded expansion.
