i never played sonic Spinball is it good my favourate game is DRAGONS FURY mint game also like GYNOUG....

I bought a NOS Pal Megadrive two years ago and a couple of games, never owned one back in the day (I was always a Nintendo guy), and I actually don't like the games that much. Most of them seem pretty lame in comparison to SNES ones IMHO. The console itself is however very sexy, uncannily similar to a NEO (a Megadrive 1 that is)

For some reason all 3-4 of my copies of Sonic Spinball freeze after 15-20 minutes of play. All my other games play fine, though. Dragon's Fury and Dragon's Revenge are neat though, especially on a Nomad.

While it could've looked better, I was actually impressed with what SEGA was able to pull of with the game, save the fact that Lion and Shun Di are missing from the roster. All of the moves are present and it plays identical to the SATURN version, it's just that it's in 2-D and it apparently looked a bit rushed. If the 32-Bit era hadn't begun and there wasn't already the kick ass SATURN port of Virtua Fighter 2, most would have looked past it's flaws and been all over it like flies on shit. But at best it's an oddity that collectors like to have in their lineup, though I won't lie... I don't play it too often.

As a Virtua Fighter 2 fan (one of the first games I got on my Saturn), I admit I didn't really like the Genesis version. It was a kick hearing the music and seeing the backgrounds on 16-bit, but as far as gameplay goes... VF2 on Genesis just felt like it had no depth. It was an interesting oddity and it's not a horrible game, but it left me thinking 'why?'. Something like SF2SCE translated brilliantly onto the Genesis, but when you pare Virtua Fighter 2 down that much, it felt like playing Mortal Kombat on the Gameboy.
