Question about Feedback rating?

I can never seem to get a link to the sale or trade so that I may leave feedback in our new feedback rating system.

What I mean is... you know where it asks for a link to the sale thread, I can never seem to get a link to post in there. Even though I go to the actual thread. At the top of the screen I should be able to see the actual link anytime I look at a different page within NG.com, well I never do. The only thing I see is the http://neo-geo.com/ no matter what old page I see or not.

Is there some setting I have to select in my preferences or within windows?

I would love to leave feedback for more people but never have been able to?

Help would be great, not only for me but to those I bought and sold to.

P.S. I personally think that is stupid and not needed. What if a sale is done sort of out side the NG.com such as an actual thread not started or used to sell/trade an item but was done via PM's or something like that.
Lets say I PM'd someone and said "hey I hear you have such and such for sale" what then? There wasn't actually a thread started about this but it is a transaction between two NG.com members.
I think that portion needs to be done away with and leave it to the two parties to explain their trade or sale of an item.

I agree. The site is set up to have the ng.com address in the bar regardless of where you are navigation wise.

The easiest way is to type in the address bad www.neo-geo.com/forums, find the thread, copy the address and paste it in the feedback dialog.

EDIT: usually if there was no thread, you can either make a thread or simply enter www.neo-geo.com in the field where you're asked for the link.

Really, wow I thought it had to be the actual sale/trade thread or it wouldn't work sorta speak.

If that is the case then that is proof that this need for a link is stupid to begin with. That should be set up as an option not a requirement to leave feedback then.

It will not let you post a feedback if you leave that link option blank. LAME, if you ask me.

MODS, if you are reading this, use this as a suggestion and change this. PLEASE, this will make life that much better here on the forums.
