The only album on there that makes my list is Nevermind.

I'd have Metallica: Metallica right at the top.
Throw Faith No More's Epic on there too.
And probably an Eminem ALbum.
And Scarface's Untouchables CD.

Wow, what a diverse list that covers all different genres of music. That couldn't be any kind of coincidence, could it? :spock:

Fuck Spin. My girlfriend was getting it for free for like three years (due to some subscription error) and it was still too gay for me to read.

It doesn't sound diverse as much as "stuff to make us look like music eletists when we really don't know shit"

I'm glad I don't get this magazine. To me, it has the inegrety of Kerrang!

And I'd throw on some garth Brooks.

He made some badass albums that are better than anything on that list.

My top 10 albums of the last 20 years would include mostly albums most of you never heard of.

Who cares?

pj harvey? as if...

spin has sucked a ton since they changed to the smaller format. back when the mag was bigger, rolling stone size, it was much better. it was like the alternative to rolling stone. now it's just garbage.

p.s. ...and justice for all is a better album than the black album.

Okay computer is fucking great. I agree with that one. I always look at lists like this, and wish that "downward spiral" were on there. Am I that hopeless of a NIN fan that I can see this isn't that good of an album? My favorite album ever, and it never gets any praise.

Never gets any praise? Not from freaking pseudo-intellectual magazines such as Spin maybe. But among NIN fans (myself included) it's easily regarded as Trent Reznors best. Although there are alot of people in the Pretty Hate Machine Camp.

They get props for having Nation Of Millions so high.
There are some great albums on that list, but music's just too damn subjective.

3 Feet > all other De La albums.

NIN = combine Ministry, Depeche Mode, and Skinny Puppy. Then add whiny, teenage angst filled lyrics. That's just my opinion, but I fail to see the greatness that others see in NIN.
