Question about Rival Schools on the PSX

Hey, I apparently can unlock four characters on the Arcade disk. See this link (if that won't work, go here, go to misc, and click "4 missing").

Anyway, who are they, and how do I unlock them? The FAQs I found mostly are about unlocking characters on the Evolution disk.

I think everyone came unlocked on the arcade disk. Sakura and akira aren't shown on the screen, but you move from top to bottom and they are off screen selectables. I think simply fighting and getting someone's good ending unlocked Raizo and Hyo. It's been a while, so I'm not sure. But I remember that everyone was either unlocked on the Arcade disk from the start, or that they were unlocked easily just by playing through the game. Remember, to fight Hyo at the end you have to finish Raizo with a team up attack or something like that. Man, it's been so long since I played that game. I never really enjoyed the Dreamcast game that followed, it just didn't quite seem as good.

If you'd look at the picture you'll see that in the alternate select screen for training mode, there are four characters greyed out. The normal select screen doesn't appear to have any gaps, and I know that you can select Sakura, etc. by going off-screen.

Don't think unlocking characters is any more than finnishing it with certain characters, for sure I had every unlockable unlocked.

Also remember in the western release, the character maker/edit fuction was removed, which filled the obvious option gap on the menu screen.........i forget this may stand true for the screen you posted.
