Teach me capcom VS SNK 1.

I have this game for a while on DC and it collects dust since I never got into it. So since some of you seems to be quite knowledgable about fighting games, could you give me advice/tips/whatever to improve myself in the game.

After so many times, I still haven't unlocked none of the hidden characters.

I thought that the combo system sucked but I saw recently videos where you could see some quite good moves, so I must have missed something.

But seriously tho, Go ask over @ SRK, Nobody actually PLAYS games here.

just remember that the snk side got the short end in this title. counters and perfects are the best way to score points in battle. but since it took forever for me to get the ex versions and boss characters i would leave the game in practice mode for 2hrs. that gets you the max pts. without effort. i feel that capcom's controls are alittle looser than kof's in my book. it alittle harder for me to do the raging storm in this and the second one vs kof and fatal fury. which characters are you playing with?

I recommend the Tier 1 characters (Yuri EX, Blanka, Cammy, and Vice or Dhalism).

But yeah, the SNK side doesn't compare very well to the SNK side. I rarely saw people play SNK characters at the arcade (other than the very rare Rugal or Geese). A lot of Guiles, E.Hondas, and Kens.

Yeah, I vaguely remember seeing a lot of LK into Lv1 Supers. Learn to roll like a master, too.

I could be wrong, but afaik, most of the cast isn't worth using.

I still liked CvS1, was fun playing it in the arcades.

I like it too, a bit more pizazz than the 2nd one . but the 2nd is a better fighter overall

I still like the first one more though
